Dr. Matthew J. Fien received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed post graduate training in the specialty of Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Periodontology.
Nationally renowned Expert
Dr. Fien is an international speaker for Implant Dentistry and the co-founder of Surgical Influence – an advanced dental education organization that teaches hands-on implantology as well as bone and soft tissue courses for general dentists and specialists.
Research and Publications
Dr. Fien has completed a number of research projects and has been published in various peer reviewed dental journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He is actively engaged in several clinical research studies in the fields of Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Tissue Regeneration.
Personal Life
Born and raised in North Miami Beach, he loves to be out on the tennis and basketball courts with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys listening to music and learning new things.
